KPT worried about MPSEZ's project execution

The board of trustees of Kandla Port Trust (KPT) has deferred the decision to award a green-field cargo port project to Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone (MPSEZ) after they raised concerns about the timely execution of the project by the port developer. MPSEZ would have to present before the board of trustees how it intends to execute the project in a time-bound manner. Accordingly, a final call on the project will be taken.
