On Monday, an announcement was made by Swapnil Dinakar, the Kakinada Municipal Corporation Commissioner that new Urban Primary Health Centers (UPHC) will be established in Kakinada smart city. In total 13 Urban Primary Health Centers will be built. The Kakinada smart city is located in the East Godavari district. Out of which the construction of eight of the Urban Primary Health Centers was inspected by Mr Swapnil on Monday. Every UPHC will have a mini ward, conference room, dressing room, and labor room. It will also have a minor operation theater and two operation theaters. Additionally, it will have a lab and pharmacy. The engineering authorities have been instructed by Mr Swapnil Dinakar to complete the work of the eight Urban Primary Health Centers as soon as possible. In the Kakinada smart city, these Urban Primary Health Centers will lead to the improvement of the medical infrastructure facilities. The status of the construction work was explained by Satyanarayana Raju, the Municipal Superintending Engineer P.V.V.V. along with the other officials. Image Source
