General Manager Smart City Project, Anuj Malhotra told Rising Kashmir that after the successful transformation of one section of the riverfront, the project aims to extend these improvements across the entire riverfront. The vision is to make the area more captivating for residents and visitors alike, he stated. 鈥淲e are striving to make the city more beautiful and attractive,鈥� Malhotra added. The redevelopment work is being carried out by the Irrigation and Flood Control department of Kashmir. Malhotra shared that the comprehensive plan will not only focus on aesthetic enhancements but also provide improved accessibility and a better experience for visitors. The project鈥檚 end goal is to complete the bridge and riverfront redevelopment in the near future, creating a more scenic and visitor-friendly environment along the riverside.
