Global logistics giant Panattoni has officially commenced construction on its first project in India with the groundbreaking of Panattoni Park NH71 in Haryana. Situated on National Highway 352, the 66,000 sqm park will feature over 32,000 sqm of state-of-the-art warehousing space, designed with industry-leading standards, including 100% wastewater recycling and significant green cover. This Rs 2 billion investment underscores Panattoni's commitment to India's expanding demand for modern logistics solutions.
The Panattoni Park NH71 is located on National Highway 352 in the Jhajjar district of Haryana, positioning it near major industrial hubs like Luhari and Farrukhnagar. This location will streamline logistics operations and facilitate access to established infrastructure networks. The park will offer over 32,000 sqm of warehousing space, featuring ample loading bays for efficient goods movement and high floor tolerance for heavy equipment. Dedicated staff and office spaces, comprising 3% of the total warehouse area, will ensure smooth operations. Emphasising environmental responsibility; the park will incorporate 100% wastewater recycling and extensive green cover to mitigate its ecological impact.
Robert Dobrzycki, CEO and Co-owner, Panattoni Europe UK, Middle East & India, highlighted India's strategic importance to their global operations. He affirmed the company's dedication to expanding across India in the coming years, with Panattoni Park NH71 exemplifying their commitment to providing world-class facilities that bolster businesses and foster economic growth.
Panattoni's entry into the Indian market is well-timed with the nation's rising demand for advanced and sustainable logistics solutions. Factors such as the e-commerce boom, a focus on supply chain efficiency driven by GST implementation, and the consolidation of third-party logistics providers fuel this demand. Panattoni's proficiency in innovative design and construction, combined with their extensive international network of potential tenants, positions them to effectively address these evolving needs.
The development of Panattoni Park NH71 is expected to generate significant local employment opportunities, contributing to the region's economic growth. This project represents a pivotal advancement in India's logistics infrastructure, setting the stage for future collaborations between international and domestic stakeholders.
