Messe Stuttgart India, a renowned name in the realm of trade fairs and exhibitions, has cemented a significant collaboration with the Indian Navy to revolutionise logistics infrastructure across the nation. The initiative aims at supporting Indian Navy in addressing various logistics requirements and offering viable solutions by connecting world-class LogiMAT India exhibitors. The Indian Navy will further initiate a tendering process to engage with the leading exhibiting organisations to evaluate and adopt the most viable solutions that align with their strategic objectives and operational requirements.
Building upon the success of LogiMAT India 2024, the inaugural event which garnered widespread acclaim for its focus on Material Handling, Intralogistics, Warehousing, Automation & Robotics, and Transportation Management, Messe Stuttgart India is gearing up for an even more impactful edition with LogiMAT India 2025.
A key highlight of LogiMAT India 2024 was the esteemed presence of Controller of Logistics (COL) Vice Admiral Deepak Kapoor, AVSM; and their team from Material Organisation, Indian Navy. Their engagement in discussions with LogiMAT India's organizers underscored the imperative to modernize the Navy's logistics infrastructure, spanning over 60 warehouses nationwide.
In a proactive step towards addressing these needs, LogiMAT India's organizers conducted a site visit to Material Organisation, Indian Navy in Mumbai, to gain firsthand insights into the challenges faced and to collaborate with relevant industry players. Exhibitors including Addverb Technologies, Armstrong Dematic, Racks and Rollers, Nilkamal Ltd., Accio Robotics, and Karcher Cleaning Systems were among those who extended their expertise and solutions to meet the Navy's requirements.
The culmination of these efforts took shape on May 3, 2024, as all participating organisations and LogiMAT India organizers congregated at Material Organisation for bespoke presentations and discussions tailored to the Indian Navy's unique requisites at Mumbai.
