Organic bio-compost project at SCDL

Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning (SCDL) has recently inaugurated an 麓organic bio compost project麓 (OBCP) in association with Pune Municipal Corporation at its Model Colony campus. The OBCP will ensure that the bio-degradable waste gets converted into soil organic material, which is known as compost and can be used as manure. Manure, unlike fertilizers, not only provide nutrients for the plant but also enrich the soil. This will be used for gardening purposes of the campus. Excess manure can be given to nearby gardens. This project will help in keeping the campus green and waste free in an eco-friendly way.
