Ashok Leyland Opens New Manufacturing Plant in Andhra Pradesh

Hinduja Group’s Ashok Leyland has commissioned a new manufacturing facility at Mallavalli Model Industrial Park near Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The plant was inaugurated by Nara Lokesh, Minister for IT and Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Spread across 75 acres, the plant will manufacture BS-VI category buses and undertake body-building for electric buses. It is expected to create 600 jobs in the first phase, with an additional 1,200 jobs in the second phase.
