Tata Power Solar Systems Limited has secured contracts from Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) of Rs 538 crore for installing multiple ground-mounted solar projects of a total 100 MW capacity. It is an integrated solar company owned by Tata Power. It received a Letter of Award (LoA) to set up 100 MW distributed ground-mounted solar projects of EESL. According to a statement, the project is to be commissioned within 12 months. Now, Tata Power's utility-scale engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) stands at 4 GW with an approximate value of Rs 9,264 crore, strengthening its position as a leading solar EPC in the country. The project sites of EESL are situated in Maharashtra. The scope of work included designing, engineering, commissioning, supplying, construction, erection and testing of the solar projects. Tata Power Solar Systems Limited is the leading rooftop solar EPC player with compelling economics for industrial and commercial segments. The company has successfully executed various large projects, including Ayana at Anantapur of 150 MW, Kayamkulam Floating Solar of 105 MW, Kasargod at Kerala of 50 MW, Greenko of 56 MW, and Lapanga Solar Power Plant at Odisha of 30 MW.
