GE bags gas turbines order from Sravanthi Energy

GE Energy has bagged an order to supply gas turbines to Sravanthi Energy's 450 mw power project coming up at Kashipur in Uttarakhand. However, the cost of the order was not disclosed. Under the agreement GE will supply four 'Frame 6FA' gas turbines and associated generators for the project, which is expected to be developed in two 225 MW phases.
