Lanco Infra focuses on power, EPC contracts

Lanco Infratech is focusing on power generation and EPC contracts, as it plans to increase its installed capacity from 1,400 MW in March 2010 to 4,000 MW by March 2011. Besides, it will undertake capacity additions of 4,750 MW by 2013-14.

The new projects will be Amarkantak (1,320 MW) in Chhattisgarh, two more projects of 1,320 MW each in Orissa and another 1,320 MW project in Maharashtra. All of them will be thermal power projects. The capacity addition entails an outlay of about Rs 30,000 crore.
