Maha to get UP power

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) has been offered 400 MW electricity from the share of Uttar Pradesh' power utility as it has defaulted on payment to the National Thermal Power Corporation. MSEDCL will get 200 MW from Singrauli power plant at a price of Rs 1.72 per unit. About 100 MW each will be provided from phases I and II of the Rihand power plant at the rate of Rs 1.99 per unit and Rs 2.14 per unit, respectively.
