ANERT floats O&M tender for 2 MW solar plant in Kerala

The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has released a request for selection (RfS) of vendors for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of its 2 MW solar plant situated at Kuzhalmannam, Palakkad District, Kerala.

The evaluated value of the O&M contract for two years is Rs 2.5 million, covering all taxes and charges.

The deadline to present the tenders is 14th November 2021. The proposals will be opened the next day.

Bidders must provide an earnest money deposit of Rs 37,500. The successful bidder must also render 5% of the total contract price as performance security.

The scope of work involves the overall operation and maintenance of the 2 MW solar plant for two years. The successful bidder should additionally render all material and services for managing the solar plant, except equipment like inverters, cables, and solar modules.

After two years, the yearly maintenance contract will be reviewed, and a tender released for the services.

The successful bidder should render one graduate engineer, one diploma engineer, a security person, and a cleaning person as part of the O&M of the project.

To take part in the competitive bidding process, bidders must possess experience in managing utility-scale (MW scale) power projects or solar power projects for at least two years at the time of proposal opening. The bidder must additionally have a minimum yearly turnover of Rs 5 million or higher for any two years of the past three years.

The O&M period will be considered to start from 10th December 2021. The technical personnel from the successful bidder should attend a training one week before the services begin.
