Ayodhya to Become Solar City: UP CM's Vision

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced plans to develop Ayodhya and other municipal bodies as solar cities. The initiative focuses on harnessing solar energy to boost sustainability and reduce carbon footprints. Adityanath emphasised the need for innovative measures, such as installing solar panels on government buildings and promoting solar energy usage in households.

The government aims to encourage private investments and public participation to expedite the transition. By turning Ayodhya into a model solar city, the state hopes to inspire other regions to adopt renewable energy solutions. This initiative aligns with India's broader goal of increasing renewable energy capacity, contributing to environmental preservation and economic growth.

Additionally, the plan includes upgrading infrastructure to support solar energy projects and providing training programs for local communities to enhance their skills in solar technology. By integrating these strategies, Uttar Pradesh seeks to position itself as a leader in renewable energy adoption.
