BCPL floats tender for 1 MW rooftop solar systems in West Bengal

Bengal Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd (BCPL) issued tenders for the empanelment of vendors for the installation of a 1 MW grid-connected rooftop solar system, at Manicktala and Panihati factories each on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis.
The scope of work comprises planning, engineering, supply, civil work, testing, site survey, design, manufacture, storage, erection, commissioning of the solar projects.
Bidders must further provide a comprehensive operation and maintenance service (O&M) for 15 years.
The scope of work includes all aspects required for the successful implementation of a grid-connected rooftop solar system of 1 MW for the company, which ensures a net metering facility according to government policies.
April 13, 2022, is the last date to submit the bids. The bids shall be opened on the same day.
Bidders must have an annual turnover of Rs 10 million in the last three financial years. Bidders can submit a chartered accountant-certified turnover certificate for the last three financial years or furnish their annual reports.
Bidders should have existed as a company for a minimum of three years and have completed at least three similar projects.
The empanelment would remain valid for up to 5 years from the signing date of the agreement, along with further renewal made upon the mutually agreed terms.
