In a significant move towards bolstering renewable energy endeavors, Envision Energy and Hero Future Energies have sealed a comprehensive framework agreement aimed at fostering collaboration in the renewable energy sector. This strategic partnership encompasses a spectrum of initiatives, including the supply of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Green Hydrogen technologies. Under the terms of the agreement, Envision Energy is slated to provide 588 MW of 3.3 MW WTGs to Hero Future Energies over the next 1.5 years. These WTGs are anticipated to generate approximately 2,200 GWh units of clean energy annually, marking a substantial stride towards sustainable energy production. Srivatsan Iyer, the Global CEO of Hero Future Energies, emphasized the strategic significance of long-term agreements in mitigating supply chain disruptions and ensuring price stability. He underscored the collaborative effort between the two entities in propelling the adoption of wind energy and other decarbonization initiatives, stating, By leveraging our collective strengths and expertise, we are strategically positioned to expedite the adoption of wind energy and other decarbonization efforts. Expressing enthusiasm about the partnership, RPV Prasad, Managing Director of Envision Energy India, highlighted the momentous nature of the collaboration. He remarked, It is a momentous step for Envision India to partner with Hero Future Energies, leveraging the potential in wind-rich states across India. This partnership will play a pivotal role in propelling India towards its net-zero target by 2070. Kane Xu, Global Vice President of Envision Energy, reiterated the commitment to green energy transition and sustainable solutions. He outlined plans to broaden the partnership beyond WTGs, incorporating solutions in BESS and Green Hydrogen, to become a preferred NetZero Tech Partner. Envision Energy has already entrenched itself in India's renewable energy landscape, having commissioned over 690 MW of wind projects and securing substantial orders for WTG models. With this collaboration, both companies are poised to make significant strides in advancing renewable energy adoption and contributing towards India's ambitious sustainability goals.
