The Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has announced an invitation to tender for the appointment of a technical consultant for the provision of project management consultancy services aimed at establishing renewable energy projects at various locations throughout India.

It was stated that the deadline for the submission of bids would be September 29, 2023, with the opening of bids scheduled for October 3.

Potential bidders were informed that there was no requirement for an earnest money deposit.

Furthermore, it was conveyed that the contract's validity would extend for a period of three years starting from the issuance of the letter of award.

Bidders were also informed of the necessity to possess prior experience in delivering project management consultancy services, encompassing the preparation of comprehensive project reports, design, and engineering (inclusive of tendering and site supervision support) to aid the project developer. It was a stipulation that bidders should have demonstrated their expertise in offering project management consultancy services for projects tendered by renewable energy implementing agencies, distribution companies (DISCOMs), power utilities, or state nodal agencies, with an installed capacity of 50 MW or more for wind projects and 50 MW or more for solar projects, within the past seven years.

It was clarified that the submitted project management consultancy services for wind and solar projects, which illustrated the bidder's experience, did not need to originate from the same work order. However, it was necessary for the minimum installed capacity of 50 MW for either a wind or solar project to be located at a single site and executed through a single work order.
