Jupiter Electric Mobility Private Limited (JEM), a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited, has recently achieved a significant milestone with the approval of its Battery Operated Light Commercial Vehicle, JEM TEZ, by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). The approval is indicated by the Certificate No.
AATB 0182 dated May 29, 2024, signifies compliance with the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, crucial as JEM gears up for the commercial production of JEM TEZ. JEM stands out as the pioneer in launching a 1-tonne commercial electric vehicle (EV).
Noteworthy features of JEM TEZ include cutting-edge fast charging technology, capable of charging the vehicle from 0% to 100% in approximately 20 minutes at combined charging stations, marking the fastest charging time in the industry.
Additionally, the on board charger facilitates a full charge in less than 2 hours. With a certified range of 127 km, JEM TEZ presents an ideal solution for various commercial applications. Equipped with telematics, JEM TEZ ensures real-time monitoring of the health and performance of all its EVs, enabling swift diagnosis, maintenance, and support.
The commencement of JEM TEZ production will soon take place, marking a significant stride for Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd.
