JREDA Announces Tender for 2 MW Canal-Top Solar Plant in Ranchi

The state of Jharkhand's JREDA has issued a call for proposals for a 2 MW grid-connected canal top solar power plant using PV technology at Sikdiri Canal, Ranchi.

The online bid must be submitted by October 6, 2012, at 5 p.m. At 3 p.m. on October 10, 2022, bids will be opened.

The scope of work for this JREDA 2 MW solar tender covers design and engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, as well as the warranty obligation with ten years of thorough operation and maintenance.

Each interested bidder will be required to submit a 25000 non-refundable tender fee. An earnest money deposit of Rs 39,000,000 would be required from each interested bidder. After the letter of intent's validity term of 24 months from the date of issuance, the chosen bidder will be required to provide 10% of the EPC contract's total cost within 15 days. A bank guarantee for the PV module's (DC Capacity) performance, good for 25 years from the beginning of the O& M term, must also be provided by the winning bidder at a rate of Rs. 10 Lacs per MW.

Bidders must be one of the following in order to participate in the bidding process, and they must have conducted similar work within the past seven years as of the last day of the month before applications are being accepted.

Three similar completed works costing not less than the amount equivalent to 40% of the anticipated cost.

Or

Two comparable finished projects that cost at least 50% of the anticipated price.

Or

A comparable finished project that cost at least 80% of the budgeted price.

The bidder's average annual turnover for the last three fiscal years ending in 2020-2021 must be at least 30% of the estimated cost. The bidder's net worth during the previous fiscal year must be positive, and the net worth must be calculated as follows:

Net worth = (Equity + Reserves)- (Revaluation reserves intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carries forward losses) The bidder must submit a copy of each audited annual report in order to determine their turnover and net worth.
