KEC International bags new orders worth Rs 1,005 crores

KEC International Limited, a global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) major, an RPG Group company, has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,005 crores across its several businesses.
These include Railways, Civil, Cables in India, along with Transmission and Distribution (T&D) in America.
KEC International has secured orders in emerging and conventional segments in India which include (i) Overhead electrification (OHE) � Order for overhead electrification (OHE) and associated works, (ii) Composite � Order for a composite project comprising track laying, OHE, and associated civil works, (iii) Semi high-speed rail � Order for 2×25 kV overhead electrification (OHE) and associated works for speed up-gradation.
In Civil business, KEC International secured an order for the construction of a depot/ workshop in the urban infrastructure segment in India.
In the cables business, KEC International secured orders for the supply of different types of cables in India as well as overseas.
In the Transmission and Distribution business, KEC International has secured orders for the supply of towers and poles in America.
KEC International Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Vimal Kejriwal told the media that with the help of these orders their YTD order intake has exceeded Rs 16,000 crores along with robust growth of 50% in comparison with the last year. Their Railway business has solidified its presence with the secured orders in conventional as well as emerging segments.
