L&T Secures Major Orders for Power Transmission & Distribution

Larsen & Toubro鈥檚 Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has secured significant orders in India and overseas. In India, the company has won contracts for setting up a 765kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) and a transmission line to facilitate power evacuation in western India. 
In Saudi Arabia, PT&D has been awarded projects for two 380kV overhead transmission lines, spanning over 130 route kilometres, to ensure reliable power supply to townships near Riyadh. 
Additionally, L&T has received turnkey orders for constructing 132/11kV GIS substations in the UAE and a 132kV GIS in Qatar. The company has also secured supplementary orders for ongoing projects in India and Oman. 
These wins highlight continued investments in grid infrastructure and reinforce customer confidence in L&T鈥檚 expertise.
