LTTS Wins USD 50 Million Five-Year Sustainability Deal

L&T Technology Services (LTTS), the listed engineering arm of Larsen & Toubro, has secured a five-year framework agreement worth more than USD 50 million to serve as the exclusive global engineering partner for the Sustainability division of one of the world鈥檚 leading energy companies.

Under the pact LTTS will deliver enterprise data and digital services, encompassing advanced power-management solutions, next-generation cooling, and scalable rack architectures designed to optimise the client鈥檚 worldwide network of AI-enabled, low-carbon 鈥渆nergy factories鈥�.

Chief Executive and Managing Director Amit Chadha said the win builds on a decade-long relationship and draws on LTTS鈥檚 experience in modernising more than 600 industrial plants. 鈥淏y fusing our proven plant-engineering expertise with new-age digital technologies we will accelerate the client鈥檚 sustainability goals and elevate operational excellence,鈥� he noted.

The engagement follows LTTS鈥檚 recent strategic agreement with Tennant Company to accelerate sustainable product development and strengthens the firm鈥檚 portfolio across sectors including medical devices, transport, telecoms and industrial products.

Shares in LTTS have declined almost ten per cent over the past year, yet opened modestly higher in Monday trade amid investor optimism around the deal鈥檚 revenue visibility.

Railways To Add 2,000 Trains, End Waiting Lists

Indian Railways will introduce about 2,000 extra trains a day over the next four years, lifting the daily total to nearly 13,000 services and aiming to provide every traveller with a confirmed berth. Six Ahmedabad Trains Rerouted For 70-Day Station Upgrade

Western Railway will divert six long-distance services from Ahmedabad鈥檚 Kalupur station for 70 days while the hub undergoes major redevelopment.
