Mercom India announces Solar 2021 Award winners

Mercom India announced the winners of the Solar 2021 Awards at its inaugural Solar Summit. There were seven award categories and winners were chosen based on project innovation, challenges overcome, uniqueness, impact on the community, economy, and the environment. The awards were presented on the second day of the Mercom India Solar Summit 2021 on April 9.

Mercom India Solar Awards 2021 winners included

Best Large-Scale Project: Engie Solar India

Best C&I Project (Rooftop): Orb Energy

Best C&I Project (Ground Mount): Amp Energy India

Best Engineered Project: ILIOS Power

Best Off-Grid Project: U-Solar Clean Energy 

Best Residential Project: Novergy Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd

Best Hybrid Project: CleanMax Solar

Mercom India took weeks to sort through a flood of nominations. Companies from anywhere in the world were allowed to apply but for projects developed only in India. Nominations were also accepted from the participant and third-party vendors and suppliers. A panel of Mercom experts selected the winners.

Mercom India award categories will be expanded next year to cover the broader green energy and several other important categories.
