NHPC Invites Bids for 2.56 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Nagaland

NHPC has issued a tender for 2.56 MW rooftop solar projects on government buildings in Nagaland under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The deadline for bid submission is April 21, 2025, with bid opening scheduled for April 23. Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 2.5 million and a performance security fee of Rs 2,475 per kW, along with a bid document procurement fee of Rs 5,000. The scope of work includes design, engineering, equipment supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and operation & maintenance for 25 years. Successful bidders must also obtain net metering approval and ensure grid connectivity. The project must be completed within nine months, maintaining an annual capacity utilization factor (CUF) of at least 14%. Eligibility criteria: � Experience in designing, supplying, erecting, and commissioning solar projects with a cumulative installed capacity of at least 400 kW, with at least one project of 40 kW at a single location. � Alternatively, bidders must have developed at least 400 kW solar projects, with one project of 40 kW at a single location. � Or, experience as a developer/EPC contractor in the process industry or completion of an infrastructure project worth Rs 40 million. � Experience in executing at least one 11 kV electrical substation with circuit breakers and power transformers. � Minimum annual turnover of Rs 50.9 million in the last three financial years. � Working capital requirement of Rs 23.8 million. � Project management charge of Rs 1,485 per kW. � Solar modules must be procured from manufacturers listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). Recent developments: In a similar initiative, SJVN recently invited bids for a 1.604 MW rooftop solar system on government buildings in Arunachal Pradesh under the same scheme. (mercom)
