NTPC delivers electrifying performance registering a growth

The largest power-generating business in India, NTPC, generated 295.4 BU between April and December 2022, an increase of 11.6% from the same time last year. NTPC produced 254.6 BU on a stand-alone basis from April through December 2022, up 16.1% from the previous year.

In comparison to 68.5% in FY22 for the same time, the coal plants recorded a PLF of 73.7% for the first nine months of FY23. The outstanding performance of NTPC is a testament to the skill of NTPC engineers, NTPC systems, and Operation & Maintenance procedures.

Additionally, NTPC demonstrated a spectacular increase in captive coal production by producing 14.6 MMT, representing a 51% increase over the same period last year.

The installed capacity of NTPC Group is 70824 MW. The company recently reached 3 GW of renewable capacity.
