Power Mech bags three projects worth Rs 10.34 bn

Power Mech Projects has secured three projects totalling Rs 10.34 billion, including one from the Adani Group.

In a regulatory filing, the company said it has received service order/letters of award (LoAs) worth this amount.

A service order from the Adani Group is for retrofitting of flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) system at its thermal power plants located at Mahan in Madhya Pradesh and Raigarh and Raipur in Chhattisgarh. This order is of Rs 6.08 billion.

Another order of Rs 3.06 billion is for setting up a wagon repair workshop at Kazipet, Telangana. This project has been awarded to Power Mech-Taikisha, its joint venture company with Taikisha Engineering India Pvt Ltd.

The third project of Rs 1.19 billion is for providing technical expert, rotary technicians and operation and maintenance services at Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Project, Lagos, Nigeria.

The contract period of this work is 24 months, Power Mech said.
