Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments (REIL) has announced rate contract bids for 2 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems across government buildings in northern India. The project, divided into three zones, aims to enhance renewable energy adoption in the region.
Zones and Project Details
Zone 1: Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh (Rs 25 million/~$290,698)
Zone 2: Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand (Rs 21.6 million/~$250,312)
Zone 3: Ladakh (Rs 6 million/~$69,531)
Bidders must submit their proposals by February 8, 2025, with bid openings scheduled for February 10, 2025.
Participation Requirements
Tender Fees: Rs 1,000 (~$11.57)
Earnest Money Deposits:
Zone 1: Rs 500,000 (~$5,792)
Zone 2: Rs 432,000 (~$5,007)
Zone 3: Rs 120,000 (~$1,390)
Eligibility Criteria:
Completed projects worth at least 40% of the estimated cost, two similar projects worth 50%, or one similar project worth 80%.
Minimum average annual turnover of 30% and net worth of 10% of the estimated cost.
Scope of Work
The contracts include survey, design, component supply (excluding photovoltaic modules), and commissioning. It also covers five years of operation and maintenance (O&M), ensuring lightning protection, safety features, and cleaning systems for solar modules.
Successful bidders must procure inverters from Class-I local suppliers and adhere to the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.
The project capacity ranges from 10 kW to 1,000 kW per building, offering flexibility in implementation.
