OREDA (Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency) has issued a request for proposals for the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 1.058 MW of rooftop solar systems and 44 solar street lighting systems at government buildings.The winning bidder will also be responsible for the project's operation and maintenance for the next five years.The deadline for submitting online bids is May 24, 2022. On May 26, bids will be accepted.The following allocation will be made for overall total capacity allotment.Category A:  Bids will be given 80 per cent of the capacity of rooftop solar projects and 80 percent of overall solar lighting systems.Category B: The remaining per cent of rooftop solar project capacity and per cent of overall solar lighting systems will be allocated for Category B bidders.A bidder can choose between Category A and Category B.As a performance bank guarantee, the winning bidder must provide an amount equal to per cent of the ordered value divided into five equal parts.
