Sterlite Power secures Rs 14 bn orders

Sterlite Power announced that it successfully secured new orders totalling Rs 14 billion in the quarter ending December 2023. These orders, originating from both domestic and international markets, encompass a range of products, including high-performance power conductors, optical ground wire (OPGW), and power cables.
In addition to these, the company has also received orders for specialised Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, as well as turnkey EPC for extra high voltage (EHV) and high-voltage (HV) cables within the domestic market. Sterlite Power specified that the equipment supplied will contribute to various projects such as metro, data center, and power projects.
Sterlite Power's CEO for Global Products & Services business, Manish Agarwal, emphasised that these recent order victories reflect the increasing demand for their product offerings in both the Indian and export markets. He highlighted the significance of their high-performance conductors, HV and EHV cables, and specialised EPC services in contributing to the ongoing energy transition, particularly in the context of a heightened focus on decarbonisation.
As a prominent private sector power transmission infrastructure developer and Global Products and Services provider, Sterlite Power boasts a portfolio featuring 33 completed, sold, and under construction power transmission projects. This portfolio covers an extensive network of approximately 15,350 circuit kilometres of transmission lines, spanning both India and Brazil.
