The 2000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydro Electric (HE) project is anticipated to be finished by May of this year, and two units, each with a capacity of 250 MW, will be put into service by June of this year. The remaining six units, which have a combined capacity of 2000 MW, will be finished by June 2024. The project, which NHPC has been in charge of since 2000, is almost finished, with 86 per cent of the entire development done thus far.
