Rail projects spanning 1909 km, worth Rs.819.41 billion, are underway, with 482 km already operational. The Ministry of Civil Aviation's RCS-UDAN initiative has notably improved air connectivity, activating airports in Rupsi, Tezu, Tezpur, and others, adding 64 new routes.
