The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has proposed the development of four smart city projects for FY22 at a cost of Rs.690 mn. The projects include smart water management, implementation of phase-2 of CCTV-based public safety and adaptive traffic management across the city for implementation of adaptive traffic light control system and connectivity at bus shelters and government buildings on an optical fibre network. The costs of the projects will be Rs.190 mn, Rs.300 mn, Rs.100 mn and Rs.100 mn, respectively.
