Spreading its Wings

Macons Equipment, which recently inaugurated its new facility in Ahmedabad, is planning to further expand its horizons.

Macons Equipment, a pioneer in the construction equipment manufacturing sector, recently inaugurated its third state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Matoda in Ahmedabad. The company already has two facilities at Vatva and Changodar.

Products planned
This new unit will manufacture self loading transit mixers and dumpers, for which Macons has entered into a joint venture with Italy-based M/s DUMEC. These products will be available in the market from March 2010. The capacity of the self loading transit mixer will be 1, 1.2, 2, 2.5, 3.5, 4 cu m and that of dumper will be 2, 2.3, 2.5, 2.75, 3, 5, 10, 16 tonne.

New ventures
Apart, from this, the company is negotiating with other companies for new products and projects. These deals are likely to be finalised in the next few months.
