JLG introduces two new scissor lifts

JLG Industries Inc, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, has introduced two new rough terrain and electric rough-terrain scissor lifts, the RT4069 and RT4769, that can reach 40 and 47 feet and carry up to 800 pounds, respectively.

Rough terrain (RT) models come in two and four-wheel drive, with diesel or dual-fuel engines and hydrostatic drive. The battery-powered AC electric rough terrain versions (ERT) have a two-wheel drive and regenerative braking to recharge the batteries while in use.

A zero-platform offset reduces the distance you must travel to work on a structure or building. Furthermore, the units can be driven at full height along a building's length, resulting in fewer trips up and down during the day.

Based on side-to-side and front-to-back tilt and weight in the platform, the LiftSense technology shows the maximum height you can achieve before you elevate. All versions meet the most recent ANSI specifications and include a load-sensing system that can be calibrated without the use of weight.

Optional Quick Level advanced technology for the RT models allows you to automatically level the stowed scissor lift on side slopes of up to 4.5 degrees, then elevate and drive at full height under certain conditions.

This feature is useful when working at height along the exterior of a building where the ground has been graded on a slope to aid drainage.

Both models feature easy-folding rails that can be collapsed in three minutes or less, allowing operators to manoeuvre the machine in confined spaces. A variety of options and accessories, such as pipe racks and levelling jacks, are also available.

The JLG 4069 RT and 4769 RT are powered by 28.4-horsepower Kubota diesel engines or 31-horsepower Kubota dual-fuel engines.

The electrified JLG 4069 ERT and 4769 ERT machines are powered by 6-horsepower Kubota diesel engines, which drive a generator and charge the batteries. The 4069 RT and 4769 RT weigh 10,536 and 13,635 pounds, respectively, for trailering calculations.

The 4069 ERT and the 4769 ERT each weigh 10,560 and 13,363 pounds.
