Loftness, a renowned name in equipment attachments, has introduced its latest innovation, the 24SG Stump Ax stump grinder attachment. Specifically designed for lower-flow skid steers and excavators, this cutting-edge tool features a compact 24-inch cutting wheel, catering to machines with hydraulic flows ranging from 17 to 35.9 gallons per minute and hydraulic horsepower between 30- 80.
Powered by a robust 110cc high-torque radial piston motor, the 24SG Stump Ax promises ample power and rapid recovery rates, ensuring efficient stump grinding operations. Building upon the success of its predecessor, the original Stump Ax, this new iteration retains a rigid mount configuration, allowing operators to maximise productivity by repositioning the carrier instead of swinging the cutting wheel. The attachment's angled hitch and forward-reaching boom enhance operator visibility, facilitating precise and controlled manoeuvring during operation.
Innovative design elements such as cut-outs on the Phantom Wheel create a transparent effect, enhancing visibility and operational efficiency. Equipped with high-strength Leonardi Tomahawk teeth, the 24SG ensures swift and efficient cutting, while a chain deflector helps contain wood chips during discharge.
Operators have the flexibility to choose between a universal skid steer mount and a custom excavator mount, with or without pins, catering to diverse equipment configurations and preferences.
