UP government to build 10,000 affordable flats in Lucknow

Under the Uttar Pradesh Government´s Samajwadi Awas Yojna, Lucknow will get 10,000 ready-to-move-in, two-bedroom flats in the price range of Rs 10 lakh-Rs 15 lakh as reported. In the first phase, around 7,000 houses will be built. The pilot design of the project has already been made for the 2,500 acre Mandola Scheme in Ghaziabad. With a limited number of units to offer, these flats will be given on lottery basis and the project will take about three years to be completed.
