About 100,000 housing units unsold in Hyderabad

Many housing units in Hyderabad remain unsold as the real estate sector becomes more expensive. The unsold housing stock in the state capital is nearly 100,000, the highest in south India. According to PropTiger, an REA India-owned digital real estate transaction and advisory services platform, the unsold stock as of Q3 2022 are 99,090. The city has a 40-month unsold inventory, which is the second highest among all cities after Delhi (62 months overhang). The unsold stock was 82,000 in Q2, and it has now crept closer to 100,000 in Q3.
