The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has issued a tender worth Rs 218 crore for the Rs 1,200 crore Gandhi Ashram redevelopment project. The tender for the Gandhi Ashram Precinct Development at Sardar Patel Stadium in West Zone also includes the restructuring of the Chandrabhaga river, a tributary of the Sabarmati that runs through the ashram precincts, in addition to the usual construction activities.
