CHB invites e-bids for 31 built-up properties on freehold basis

The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) has floated tenders for selling 31 built-up properties, including 27 residential units and four commercial units, on a freehold basis.

Of the 27 residential properties, 17 of them are located in Indira Colony, Manimajra, and the reserve price of these housing units ranges from Rs 32 lakh to Rs 34 lakh.

The Category-II flat at Modern Housing Complex carries the highest reserve price of Rs 98.60 lakh, while a Middle-Income Group (MIG) flat in Sector 51 has a reserve price of Rs 90 lakh.

The four commercial properties, all booths, are located in Sector 51-A, with a reserve price range from Rs 80 lakh to Rs 85 lakh.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CHB, Yashpal Garg, said that the deadline to submit online bids for commercial and residential units on a freehold basis is till 10 am on 22 June 2022 and will be opened the same day from 10.15 am ahead.

He said that stickers had been pasted at each housing and commercial unit. Moreover, the location of each unit was also available on Google Maps.

He added that the residential units could be reviewed on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am till 5 pm.
