As per Colliers India, by 2030, 40 per cent of India’s population, approximately 60 crore people, is expected to reside in urban areas. In order to meet this rising demand, India plans to invest over Rs 143 trillion in infrastructure by 2030, focusing primarily on urban housing. Key projects include second airports, inter - city metro connectivity, aero - cities, highways, rail corridors, IT zones, and large data centers concentration zones.
