Telangana governor asks developers to make affordable housing models

The Governor of Telangana Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, has asked real estate developers to come up with affordable housing models.

Dr Tamilisai informed that Affordable housing models will help the economically underprivileged sections fulfil their dreams of owning a house, after inaugurating the first-ever Confederation of the Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) Telangana State Conclave-2021 here.

The first edition of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) - Telangana's TS Conclave-2021 will be held on December 23 at HICC in Hyderabad.

The third edition of the CREATE Awards will be held to identify and celebrate winners among Telangana realtors who inspire and promote best practices and champion the feat of creating value, delivering quality, and bringing innovation to the forefront in the real estate sector. The goal of the CREDAI TS Conclave-2021 is to educate the builder community across the State's 14 chapters and 800 members on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists to ensure adherence to the prescribed norms.

On this occasion, CREDAI Telangana will release a book on SOPs that members should follow. Anarock, a leading real estate consulting firm, will serve as the conclave's knowledge partner and will collaborate with CREDAI-Telangana to release a special report on the Future of Real Estate in Telangana.

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) is India's apex body of private real estate developers, founded in 1999 to change the face of the Indian real estate industry and a mandate to promote housing and habitat.

CREDAI now represents more than 13,000 developers in 217 city chapters across 21 states, and it plays an important role in policy formulation by regularly representing the views of its members to various ministries.
