Incorporated in June 1996, the company has a manufacturing unit spread over 12 acre at Silvassa. Its corporate office includes state-of-the-art R&D laboratories at Kanjurmarg in central Mumbai. It has a global presence in over 12 countries with over 80 distributors and eight offices across India.

The recognitions won by the company in 2011 include the Jamnalal Bajaj Award for fair business practices in the manufacturing category, Bio-Excellence award conferred by the department of IT, BT and S&T by the Government of Karnataka, and Frost and Sullivan Best Practices award for Indian excellence in chemicals, materials, food, etc, in industrial enzymes.
