Development of HP towns

The Union Government has approved eight projects for the development of Himachal Pradesh麓s small and medium towns. With an estimated cost of Rs 217.26 crore, the projects will be implemented in towns such as Rampur, Nagrota, Kangra, Mandi, Manali and Kullu. The projects will be taken under the Centre麓s urban infrastructure development scheme for small and medium towns.

The Himachal Pradesh Government had requested the Centre to approve 23 other schemes, amounting to approximately Rs 345 crore, pertaining to upgradation of urban infrastructure, it is expected that they will be approved soon.
