CW Global Awards: L&T bags five awards, NCC, J Kumar Infraprojects get three awards

New Delhi, 12 October 2023: The prestigious CW Global Awards, as part of the India Construction Festival, are a beacon of excellence in the construction sector. At a grand ceremony organised by FIRST Construction Council, multiple awards were presented to top-performing companies and industry stalwarts who have made significant contributions to the construction universe at the prestigious Shangri-La Eros Hotel in New Delhi.

L&T Shines Bright

� Larsen and Toubro (L&T) won totally five awards in the categories of “Largest & Most profitable construction company�, the “Most Admired� category, for L&T Construction & Mining Machinery and two awards in the ENR Awards.

NCC Leads the Way

- The company proved its mettle by securing the title for “Fastest-growing Construction Company in the large category� apart from being recognised as one of the "Top Challengers" in the industry. AAV Ranga Raju, Managing Director, NCC, was honoured as the " Man of the Year � Private Sector", highlighting his exemplary leadership and he was unanimously chosen by the jury panel for his contribution to the industry which have not only propelled his organisation but have also had a positive impact on the industry as a whole in 2022-23. The 2022 “Man of the Year � Private Sector� was SV Desai, Whole-Time Director and Executive Vice President (Civil Infrastructure), Larsen & Toubro.

Other Outstanding Performers

- DRAIPL was first "Fastest Growing Construction Company" in the large category followed by PNC Infratech and Afcons/NCC
- J Kumar Infraprojects stood out in the "Fastest Growing Construction Company - Medium Category" apart from claiming the "Top Challengers" title and securing the "Construction Project of the Year" award for its exceptional Thane Creek Bridge Project. It was followed by J Kumar and HG infra 
- Tata Projects bagged ENR Awards for its outstanding contribution to the industry.
- HG Infra Engineering was celebrated as "Fastest Growing Construction Company" in the medium category apart from an award in the “Top Challengers� category.
- PSP Projects emerged as the "Fastest Growing Construction Company" in the small category.
- Ircon International received accolades at the ENR Awards apart from one for the “Top Challengers�.
- APCO Infratech bagged the “Construction Project of the Yearâ€� for its Bundelkhand Expressway Project and was also among the "Fastest Growing Construction Company - Medium Category". 
- Emerging Company of the Year: GA Infra, represented by Pramila Agarwal and Malvika Agarwal, was celebrated as the "Emerging Company of the Year," acknowledging their journey in construction.
- �Product Innovation of the Year� (for Steel Slag Road Technology) award went to CSIR- Central Road Research Institute (CRRI).
- The event also recognised corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives with SOBHA gaining the “CSR Company of the Year� title.
- GA Infra, Bharat Vanijya Eastern and KEC International bagged “Emerging Company of the Year� awards.
