DARPG report shows grievance disposals stayed above 1 lakh for 33rd month

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) released its 35th monthly report on the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) for March 2025.

As of 28 March, 121,065 grievances were redressed by central ministries and departments. This marks the 33rd consecutive month that disposals have crossed the 100,000 mark. The average disposal time was 16 days.

Top performers in Group A (more than 500 grievances) were the Department of Telecommunications, Department of Posts, and the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs. Leading Group B (fewer than 500 grievances) were the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and Department of Heavy Industry.

A total of 116,970 grievances were received, and 24,478 appeals were filed. Disposals included 21,400 appeals, while pendency stood at 57,456 cases and 25,488 appeals, respectively.

49,912 new users registered on CPGRAMS in March, led by Uttar Pradesh with 7,602 sign-ups. Additionally, 7,150 grievances were registered through Common Service Centres (CSCs), now integrated with over 500,000 CSCs across India via 250,000 Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).

PF Claim Resolved in a Day: Shri Prakash Kumar Agarwal’s Rs 3.53 million PF withdrawal was cleared on the same day after six months of delay.

LPG Subsidy Credited: Shri Vishal Verma’s issue of non-receipt was resolved after Aadhaar-NPCI linkage verification.

Fellowship Disbursement Fixed: Shri Souptik Sarkar’s NFSC fellowship issue was resolved after subject classification errors were reviewed.

Scholarship Delay Addressed: Smt Bhumika Gaikwad received her NOS award letter within 3 days after prolonged delays.
