The groundwork for the extension is already in motion, with tenders issued and contractors in place, and Fadnavis' experience in expediting land acquisition is expected to minimise delays.The Dharavi Redevelopment Project, facing resistance from residents, is also anticipated to gain momentum under Fadnavis. Survey work is ongoing, and there is optimism that the project will provide new housing and improved infrastructure.Fadnavis� leadership is critical for advancing the Mumbai Metro expansion. The Metro Line 11, connecting Wadala to CSMT, and the completion of Metro Line 3 by 2025 will significantly ease Mumbai’s traffic congestion, reinforcing Fadnavis' reputation as a key champion of urban transport development.
