OpenText has bolstered its footprint in India by inaugurating a 70,000 sq ft Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru’s Embassy Golf Links Road, marking its largest global facility. This follows the company’s strategic growth in India, including a 15% annual workforce expansion and the establishment of a new facility in Hyderabad earlier this year.
“India is OpenText’s biggest center of innovation globally,� said Madhu Ranganathan, President and CFO of OpenText. “The Bengaluru facility underscores the critical role India’s talent plays in our global strategy and innovation efforts.�
The Bengaluru office has seen a staggering 194% workforce growth over the past two years, aligning with OpenText’s 3.0 strategy, which emphasizes AI and digital transformation. The India team is central to this vision, driving advancements in AI, cybersecurity, and DevOps for OpenText’s Business Clouds.
Manoj Nagpal, MD of OpenText India, highlighted the company’s commitment to fostering local talent through upskilling and apprenticeship programs, noting that the new facility is part of a broader effort to reimagine information management globally.
With over 6,000 engineers and services staff across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai, OpenText India is integral to delivering innovative products and solutions for global customers, focusing on AI-integrated technologies and digital transformation.
