In the next couple of years, India’s metro rail network, which is expanding at an unprecedented pace, is likely to become the second largest in the world, leaving behind the US. With India aiming for 5,000 km metro route length by 2047 in 100 cities (from 900 km across 20 cities in April 2023), FIRST Construction Council - in partnership with CONSTRUCTION WORLD and INFRASTRUCTURE TODAY magazines will be hosting the 2nd Metro Rail Conference on Feb 28, 2024 at Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai, to bring together the industry, policymakers, and other stakeholders to discuss the sustainable, profitable roadmap for the metro rail sector.
