BeTogether to Modernise Six Key Bus Terminals in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has awarded BeTogether, an Omaxe Group brand, a contract to modernise six key bus terminals under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The selected terminals鈥擥haziabad, Lucknow (Gomti Nagar), Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Ayodhya, and Lucknow (Amausi)鈥攚ill undergo upgrades aimed at enhancing public transport infrastructure while integrating commercial spaces.
With an investment of approximately Rs 27 billion (bn), the projects are expected to generate revenue exceeding Rs 47 bn. The total saleable area spans 45.59 lakh sq ft, while the combined built-up area stands at 70.80 lakh sq ft.
The revamped terminals will feature heritage-inspired architecture combined with modern amenities, including automated ticketing, digital displays, air-conditioned waiting lounges, escalators, lifts, and advanced security systems. Additionally, commercial developments such as retail spaces, banquet halls, studio apartments, and EV charging stations will be integrated to create vibrant transit hubs.
