NHAI seeks bids for Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata highway

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for a six-lane, greenfield Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata highway.

The scope of work includes construction of the six-lane greenfield highway from the junction with NH-19 and Varanasi Ring Road near Rewasa village to junction with Chandauli-Cainpur road near Khainti village (27 km) under BMP in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on HAM basis. The estimated value of the project is Rs 98.82 billion.

Another tender involves construction of six-lane greenfield Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Highway from the junction with Chandauli-Chainpur Road near Khainti village to junction with Bhabhua-Adhaura Road near Palka village under BMP in Bihar. The estimated value of the work is Rs 94.52 billion.
