In a series of tweets, Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, announced that the budget of Rs 2.83 billion has been authorised for the building of the Amethi Bypass (NH-931) in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, which will have two lanes and a paved shoulder. This project will ease traffic, make it easier to transport agricultural products, and help with trade and industrial growth, all of which will benefit the socioeconomic development of the area. According to Gadkari, the upgrade of NH-130D in Kondagaon and Narayanpur districts to a 2-lane layout with paved shoulders under the EPC mode has been approved at a cost of Rs 3.22 billion. This initiative will end the current annoyance and ensure that traffic on the national highway moves safely and effectively through a particularly sensitive area of Chhattisgarh. The renovation of the segment would result in an overall increase in the effectiveness of long-distance traffic and freight transportation, providing a smooth and safe flow of traffic. In addition, the project's implementation will enhance the area's infrastructure, which will ultimately spur the region's general economic growth. According to Gadkari, the EPC mode has been approved for the building of the Balrampur bypass with a 2-lane sidewalk on NH-730 in the Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh at a cost of Rs. 5.15 billion. NH-330 and NH-730 will have uninterrupted traffic flow thanks to the project.
